Free browser-based health check for all MacBook, MacBook Air & MacBook Pro models up to 2025.
1. Select Your MacBook Model
Choose your series and year, then optionally type the exact model identifier
(for example, MacBookPro16,1 or A2337).

This tool uses free browser APIs only. It does not read
Apple internal diagnostics, fan speeds or SSD health, but it helps you check
the main things you can see and hear before booking a repair.
2. Display Test
Click a colour to fill the screen. Look for dead pixels, flicker, stains,
lines or ghosting. Click the screen to exit each colour.

3. Keyboard Test
Click inside the box and press as many keys as you can (letters, numbers,
modifiers, arrow keys). Detected keys will appear as chips below. Sticky,
repeating or missing keys may indicate a keyboard fault.

4. Trackpad & Mouse Click Test
Use your trackpad (or mouse) inside the grey area. Try:
single click, double click, click-and-drag and two-finger click (if enabled).

5. Speaker Test
Turn up the volume and play the tone. Listen for crackling, imbalance
(left vs right) or distortion.

6. Microphone Test
Start the mic test and speak at normal volume. The green bar should move.
Allow microphone access when the browser asks.

7. Camera Test (FaceTime HD / built-in camera)
Start the preview to test your built-in camera. Check image quality, focus,
brightness and any green / pink tints.

8. Battery & Power Status
Click the button to read battery information from the browser (supported in
some browsers only). For detailed cycle count and condition, use macOS
System Settings > Battery.

9. Ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & Other Checks
Please manually confirm the items below:
USB-C / MagSafe ports connect firmly and charge the MacBook.
External devices (USB drives, monitors, hubs) are detected.
Wi-Fi connects quickly and holds signal; Bluetooth connects to a known device.
Touch ID (if present) unlocks without repeated failures.
MacBook wakes from sleep correctly when opening the lid.
No unusual fan noise, overheating, or sudden shutdowns during normal use.

10. Summary & Diagnostic Report
Generate a short summary you can copy and send to a technician or bring to
your repair appointment.
